Over the last month my messages inbox has been assaulted by literally 5 polls asking active watchers to vote +1.

I really don't understand it, are really that insecure that you need to know how many people care enough pay attention to your 'art?' Does it give you satisfaction to know that you have more 'active watchers' then the next artist? Perhaps you're just an attention whore. God knows we have enough of them here. Honestly I could give less of a shit how many people would even take the 30 seconds to read this.

Maybe it's the next fad. Used to be pageviews, now its 'active watchers.' Either way I still think its bloody retarded.
